I prefer the reds and orange for stuffing, and for some reason I like the horizontal cut. I think it is because of the proportion of filling to pepper. Anyway, thanks again. I really appreciate you.Sonia Chauhanhttps://www.updateland.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862780880843779940.post-84941651834965199042016-04-03T21:36:05.801-04:002016-04-03T21:36:05.801-04:00Great technique for poaching from frozen. By not separating the pairs, I had a nice pink color in the center. It's tasty, it's a great broth, but it's not stock. Feel free to use it in soups as you like, but if something calls specifically for stock, be sure that you can substitute it with broth. If a recipe calls for stock, it might be doing so for texture the gelatin of homemade stock has, which a broth would lack.

Thank you for posting this though. I found this while searching for poaching methods for frozen chicken breasts. Happy to say it suited my needs perfectly, so thank you once again. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862780880843779940.post-12677009401885906822015-03-04T13:41:43.870-05:002015-03-04T13:41:43.870-05:00Exactly what I needed!
