The one exhibit that I needed the kids for was the mirror maze. I was in Chicago briefly (as in, for a few hours) last summer for the Van Gogh immersive exhibit, but desperately want to return for the Art Institute. What a fabulous, fabulous place. Being childless I've not been to the MSI but.. from what you said, I might not need to rent a kid to have fun! I've been at the same job for 20+ years now and will retire from it. Heck, I'm sure I'll be kept on as a contractor too, so I need to think up what kind of job perks I would like (or great pay). I'm sure I am not getting paid as much as I could now, but I like the job.TechChickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11960422420943812763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862780880843779940.post-65324498545807989282022-04-05T16:03:24.992-04:002022-04-05T16:03:24.992-04:00Running along the lakefront in Chicago is one of m...Running along the lakefront in Chicago is one of my greatest joys when I visit. The pictures from your run look amazing.
You guys are troopers for that all-day museum day! Not sure I'd be up for that. But you definitely got your money's worth. I've done the architectural tour- it's really nice. From the photos on the website it's impossible to get an idea of the size. The text mentions a scale of 1:12 and "shoebox size", but it would be even cooler if they showed that.

Yay on "Thing 2". That recruiter obviously doesn't know what she's talking about.
