Weekly Eats: A Great Problem to Have

 

A weekly round up: eats, watches, and reads.  I am still struggling mightily to plan meals in the never ending sea of work and kids' nighttime activities.  On the one hand I wish I was doing better at it and on the other hand the "problem" of having a good job that I enjoy and the kids getting to do neat stuff at night is a problem that I am very happy to have.

Weekly Sweats: Half Marathon #6

Alright my friends, since we last talked:

  • I've run 30 miles including half marathon #6 AN IN-PERSON REAL LIVE RACE
  • Running two half marathons in two weeks was not the right thing for my level of fitness==>I achieved my 2nd slowest half and am in a world of hurt
  • But if I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't have changed a thing

Weekly Sweats: Fartleks and Speed Update


On the surface it would seem like not a lot happened this week.  I spent a fair amount of time basking in the (virtual) post half marathon glow, I took a few days off, and ended up with 19.25 miles in my running bank.  It doesn't seem like there is anything to write about this week....ha ha just kidding we have a ton of stuff to talk about.
